On November 12, 2025, at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel, SCB SME hosted the fifth edition of THE DOTS under the theme “Family Power: Legacy to the Future”. This event brought together thought leaders to share insights on succession and building the future of family businesses in Thailand. Mr. Kaveesil Sirimaneetham, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GP Mobility Public Company Limited, was honored as one of the keynote speakers. He shared the inspiring story of GP Mobility’s 17-year journey (2008–2025) from a single-shophouse auto parts store into a publicly listed company with over 2 billion baht in annual revenue. As his parents aged and competitors passed businesses to their successors, Mr. Kaveesil returned home to help, leaving behind his architectural path and pursuing an MBA to prepare for his role. 2. The Employee Era: Working with His Father Despite dreams of being a hero, Mr. Kaveesil started humbly as an employee. This event was designed specifically for family business successors to provide a space for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and inspiration to help pass on family businesses and ensure their continued growth in the modern era.
